about

María, Mahajyoti (Big Divine Light) Lakshmi

I am an artist and Holistic Healing facilitator.

After being a lawyer and helping to promote Access to Justice for Indigenous people for many years, I changed my path.

My journey as a therapist began in 1998 when I had a healing experience with Bach Flowers and learned how to detox my body from everyday food that was not good for me.  Healing on all levels physical, mental, emotional and spiritual was the beginning of my training.

Both as a lawyer and a therapist, I love to help people work through their existing conditions.

In 2006, I became a massage therapist which was a tool that helped mer improve the physical, mental and emotional health of others. Then I studied to become a Reiki Master which gave me an understanding of emotional balancing , non -physical healing and energy work.

I worked with Bach Flowers for many years as a self-taught learner, I decided to become a Registered Practitioner with the Bach Center in England to complete my work with the flowers.

I also received an introductory course in Acupuncture for pain relief, emotional balancing and strengthening the immune system. I am fully  trained in Acupressure Mastery to use more acupressure in the treatments. I am certified in Holistic Pain Relief, Acupressure, Meridian Psychotherapy, Crystal Healing, Massage , Reiki Master, Sound Healing  and Yin Yoga. I am about to finish my training to become a Naturopath (December 2020 I will be fully Certified). So I offer a mix of all this therapies to guide your path and help you during your solo Retreat.

I have lived in a Lake for the last 20 years, I love to work for the community and collaborate in development projects. I have a passion for Permaculture and have a land were I am learning and connecting with the earth, were Lakshmi Temple is. I like to work with creativity and hands as a painter, poetry writer, knitter and crochet creator.

I am passionate about what I do and often find myself doing treatments that last whatever time is needed for people to feel good.

Book an appointment and allow me to help you with your journey!

I enjoyed building this three houses to develop creativity. A Private Retreat is when you go to take a distance from everyday life but are not willing to go on a Retreat with other people. So you come here and I will work with you as an individual. You can look at my website for offerings www.tzununahealthyself.com.

We will research on your needs or challenges. Then we will plan a week or two weeks of therapeutic massages, emotional healing sessions, Sound Ceremonies and or Cacao Ceremonies.

Walks and visit to beautiful mayan villages around the lake.

Proceeds do go to support Education and Culture in Tzununá. The small village were all the houses are.
